Licuado de Melon- Melon Smoothie
This creamy drink is best with a really ripe cantaloupe, golden flesh honeydew or canary melon, though you could use a green honeydew too. You can freeze your melon slices for a few minutes to make sure your drink is nice and cold. To make a meal substitute on a hot day add a handful of granola to the top!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cold melon, skin and seeds removed, diced
- 3/4 cup whole milk or milk substitute
- 2-3 tablespoon yogurt
- 1 + tablespoon honey, if desired
Place all ingredients in a blender and puree on high until smooth and creamy! Add granola, toasted nuts or coconut flakes to the top and enjoy.
