Individual Pear or Apple Crisps
Use this recipe if you don’t have enough fruit to make a whole
cobbler or crisp. Serve with vanilla yogurt or a scoop of ice
cream.
Ingredients
- 1 share pears or apples, washed, cored and chopped
- 1 slice lemon
- 1 tablespoon sugar or brown sugar (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 handful granola
- 1 thin slice butter
Directions
Melt one slice of butter and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add cut fruit, a squeeze of lemon juice and the cinnamon. Cook for about 3 minutes for pears (longer for apples), until fruit is cooked through and meltingly tender. Place in one or two bowls and top with granola and yogurt or ice cream. Serve hot.
