Fresh Corn Dip

2 ears corns, kernels cut from cobs
1 tablespoon butter
2 green onions finely chopped
1/2 bell pepper, finely chopped
1 minced garlic clove
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat the butter in large saute pan over medium heat. And the onions and corn kernels and saute for 10 minutes. Add the pepper and garlic and saute for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cilantro, mayonnaise and 1/2 cup cheese. Place in small baking dish and top with 1/4 cup cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips and lime wedges if desired.
