Holiday Pop Up Market

We are really excited about the CSA Holiday Market this year! The weather looks perfect so plan on spending some time enjoying the afternoon, talking with the vendors and learning more about their locally produced products. As usual, vendors will be set up in front of the building facing University Blvd. You’ll recognize CSA members Raven and Weaver from previous years and will also have a chance to meet another CSA member, Regina.

Weaver Younghands makes desert ecology-based lunar calendars or “trackers” on a new theme each year. The theme for 2026 is spirals; exploring what spirals represent and how this ancient symbol shows up in so many life forms: in plant growth, in weather, in our bodies, in water, in the universe, etc. There is a wall calendar, and a book which is designed for observing and tracking environment, health, biorhythms, gardening, harvesting, or as a daily art/reflection practice. Detailed descriptions are in the book. Payment accepted through cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

Raven from Botanical Mavens will be back this year with a variety of soaps, salves, oils and other products that smell amazing and feel even better. From Raven ‘At Botanical Maven we organically grow most of the plants that go into our products. We strive to get all the botanical goodness into every product. We distill, infuse, harvest, collect and create products that are steeped in the essence of the desert.’

Crafting Resilience is a community-focused pop-up celebrating sewing as a tool for creativity, connection, and resilience. We offer free and paid workshops that make sewing approachable for everyone.

At markets and events, our booth serves as workshop outreach, and—upon request—we can plan on-the-spot mending pop-ups for simple repairs. At art and craft markets, our booth features handmade, upcycled, and crochet goods—reusable gift bags, accessories, home goods, and more—all crafted from reclaimed and vintage materials.

We are always accepting donations of fabric, notions, tools, and sewing supplies. The community’s generosity—including the donation of 10 sewing machines—has been crucial to launching accessible sewing machine lessons. Each machine is being given new life, allowing beginners to learn without the stress of buying an expensive tool before they even know how to use it. Donations also support the mending kits we bring into the community and help keep our free workshops accessible.

Guests can browse, shop, watch live stitching, try a few stitches, and learn about upcoming classes and community workshops. Crafting Resilience is a space to slow down, make something meaningful, and celebrate handmade craft.
